PRICE : 16 000 Euros.
Bike ready for open road anywhere, not trailer bike . Engine start a 4 kicking when cold, one when hot. Engine and transmission rebuild 7 years ago, around 20 000 kms now. Using Starklite-cycle components. Pistons are 020. No leaks, except at the pushrod base guide when riding up than 100km/h for a long time. Last year, generator completely rebuild with original components buying on E-bay, cut-out too (sealed bearing are modern). Many parts are original on this bike, all sheet metal, tanks sealed inside.
I can made a less price, but i keep some parts ; buddy seat spring, footboard, Crocker steering dampner (from M. Breeding), crash bar, spotlight etc … I can change the original Motolamp for a nice repro. We can win more than 1000 euros on the price asking.
If you are ready with the price, some others parts come ; original oil filter (rare mounting only on the first 1940), rear crash bar, original big speedometer cable whitout the chain inside (soory, i never find this one) etc ...
Selling only for buying a other one INDIAN (347). My bike is really a reliable bike and come from the order made by the french government in 1940. Yes it’s a CAV.
